Alexis Bittar | Special Projects

Below are a few examples of marketing and sales programs I launched with my team while at Alexis Bittar.

Exclusives

When we relaunched our lookbook to be more editorial it immediately gained an insane amount of press. At the time, it mostly contained “press only” pieces, one-of-a-kinds that were leant to magazines for editorial shoots. Customers were calling asking where they could find these larger than life pieces. This prompted us to produce one-offs from the editorial collection, offered only online and in our stores. It also gave us the opportunity to market to a more fashion forward customer and gain earned media in a new segment. The sale of the eye catching pieces caught the attention of fashionistas to museum ladies, fashion editors to fashion bloggers.

Flash Sales + Capsule Collections

To solve the problem of pre-production inventory over flow my team and I came up with the idea to do a Flash Sale. Alexis designed a capsule collection using blank lucite pieces and extra components. All the pieces were designed with price point in mind. We launched this 10 day sale on Cyber Monday starting with an exclusive link only available to our email list for the first 48 hours. Then launched an earned media campaign to spread the word about this limited edition collection.

It was so successful it became a twice a year event with a 95%-98% sell-thru each time.

Rebrand + Website launch

My final project before I left Alexis Bittar was to lead our team on the relaunch of our website on Magento with a complete redesign and assist in the complete rebrand of the brand. This included redesigns of the logo, packaging for retail and web, overhaul of all marketing materials- wholesale catalog, email campaigns, print, etc.

This also included an overhaul for all our marketing and digital assets. I was tasked to to find a new creative direction that would match the new luxury inspiring brand message.
